We have been awarded a grant of £1,000 from Suffolk Coastal's Community Environmental Action Fund (CEAF).
In addition to the finance, which will pay for insurance cover for our current projects - wind turbine and allotments, it will also pay fo meeting room hire and some speakers at future events.
The grant also includes 5 days' worth of time from Dan Wheals who is SCDC's Environmental Action Adviser and also works for Groundwork East of England.

Dear Cookpole Residents
We have been asked by Suffolk Coastal District Council to take part in their 'Greener Homes DIY Scheme' - and enclose the explanatory leaflet together with a 'wish list' of items. This is a guaranteed give away of energy saving products or vouchers ranging in value from £50 to £350 to every household in Cookley and Walpole based on certain financial criteria. Wish lists must be returned by the end of February and items will be delivered in March.
