Pre-planning Application Open Meeting

We are writing to invite you to an open meeting. Our aims are to bring you up to date with developments since the last meeting in September 2010 and to provide an opportunity for discussion.
We are aware that some residents strongly support the Community Wind Power project, some are strongly opposed and others may not have strong views, or be undecided. We wish to provide an opportunity for all points of view to be heard and for residents to be able to receive accurate, independent information and answers to questions they may have.
The following people have kindly agreed to attend the meeting in order to help support this aim:
- Dr Wil Gibson, Chief Executive of Suffolk ACRE, will chair the meeting
- Kathryn Oelman, Planning Officer at Suffolk Coastal, will answer questions on planning issues in general (but not about the forthcoming CEA application itself)
- John Taylor, Community Advisor for Suffolk Climate Change Partnership, will answer questions on climate change and ways of responding to it
You will see from the attached agenda that we have allowed time for speakers who support the project and for speakers who oppose the project.
